The
Senior Environment Experience
- August 18, 22, & 25: Why are the ruins of
Penn Station buried in the Meadowlands?
- October 10, 17 & 24: Should I let my grandchildren
eat the fish and crabs they catch?
Each module consists of three different sessions about
environmental issues affecting the Meadowlands. Programs
are held at the Mount Olive Senior Center from 11 AM to
12PM. These programs are held on nutrition days.

Seminars
Mount Olive Senior Services and MOMAC present three seminars
for senior residents of Mount Olive Township. These programs
will be presented at the Mount Olive Senior Center and
will begin at 11:00 A.M. Attendees will receive a luncheon
provided by MOMAC., Participation will be limited, so
you must call Diann Brochu, Director of Senior Services,
973-691-2024, to register. Call 973-691-0900, extension
7365 or 7331 for transportation.
The topics are:
- June 10: Managing your Meds
- August 12: The Funny Bone Equation
- October 14: You, Your Grandkids and Secondhand Smoke
A congregate meal is served at the Mount Olive Senior
building every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday beginning
at noon. Transportation is provided every Monday and
Friday. The federally suggested donation is $2.00
per meal. Call Bonnie, the site manager, at 973-448-7474,
to sign up. Call 973-691-0900, extension 7365 or 7331
for transportation.
