Fusion Pilates
Join us for this 8-week whole body workout.  Pilates' is a body conditioning routine that helps build flexibility and long lean muscles, but also concentrates on strength, endurance, and coordination in the legs, abdominals, arms and back.  It puts emphasis on spinal and pelvic alignment, breathing to relieve stress and allow adequate oxygen flow to muscles for a strong core.  It also improves coordination and balance.  Pilates' flexible system allows for different exercises to be modified in range from beginners to advance.  Intensity can be increased over time as the body conditions and adapts to the exercises.  No muscle group is under or over trained.  Sign up soon, class fills up fast.

yogaA  multi-level six week program which offer adults ( 16 years old and above) the opportunity to experience increased flexibility, strength and reduction in stress. No prior  experience with Yoga is necessary.  This class is just the right thing for the person who has never practiced Yoga before, has had limited experience in Yoga or simply prefers a more gentle practice of Yoga. The basics will be explained in detail permitting the student to experience the benefits of Yoga in a safe and comfortable setting.

Yoga is widely accepted and offered as a stress reducer, has been documented as a factor in reducing the symptoms of  high blood pressure and depression and is an excellent entry point to those who have not participated in a physical fitness activity. Monday 6:00 – 7:00 PM   “Step & Sculpt”- a step class for all levels alternating toning segments using low level weights..

Tuesday  7:00- 8:00 PM  “Hip Hop Dance” - it is all in this class. Intensity, the latest dance moves and a super ab workout fiishes the class

Wednesday 6:30 - 7:30 PM   “Pilates” - a core conditioning class that includes targeted exercises for butt, gut & thighs.  Also lots of great stretches for the entire body

Thursday 7:00 – 8:00 PM  “Kickbox ” –. A blends of athletic drills with upper cuts, jabs and different artial arts moves to create an intense cardiovascular workout. 15 minutes of toning at the end

Friday  7:00-8:00 AM Buts & Guts ” –25 minutes of concentrated lower body standing toning exercises followed by 25 minutes of Pilates focused on abdominal strength.

Saturday 9:00 – 10:00 AM   “Boot Camp” - a strength training class designed to firm both upper & lower body. Includes low impact aerobics, circuit training, cardio drills, push ups & jump rope.

During this eight session course, students will learn a basic proficiency in the practical use of the Japanese sword along with some history, philosophy and cultural aspects. The practical use of the “Shinai” or bamboo training sword, as well as footwork, stance, and grip
are covered. Open to both male and female students 14 years or older; parental swordpermission is required for students under 18. Students should be in reasonably good physical condition and must be even-tempered and respectful at all times.
Signed insurance waiver required.

First time students: A $16.00 fee for a “Shinai” due to instructor the first night of class.
