Mount Olive Township Trails

TRAIL VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

Mt. Olive’s Open Space Committee is looking for a team of volunteers to create and maintain trails in Mt. Olive parks.   Trail builders will flag, blaze and clear new routes on Mt. Olive’s open space properties.   Trail maintainers will walk sections of trails a couple of times a year to make sure trails are still clearly marked, signed and problem-free.   Another group of volunteers will fix problems reported.   If you like to explore or just take an occasional walk in the woods,  or want to volunteer for your community, join Mt. Olive’s trail team  by contacting Kathy Murphy  (973-691-0900 ext. 7272 or kmurphy@mtolivetwp.org).

Mt Olive Trails

The map below will be refined as we add more trail links, but here is a starting point. This map is for a woodland trail. Turkey Brook Park also has new paved trails encircling the perimeter of the recreation area for you to enjoy. More signage will be installed soon.
For those interested in signing up to help on trail blazing, construction and maintenance, please send contact information to Kathy Murphy at kmurphy@mtolivetwp.org or call 973—691-0900 x7272.

White Trail goes from Mt. Olive High School to Maier's Pond, through Turkey Brook Park then along a section of Flanders Road and crossing over into the Turkey Brook Greenway, ending on Goldmine Road.
